Next we are highlighting the Wallace Shawl, by far one of the most popular pieces in our collection over the last 10 years. The Wallace shawl is a one size fits most poncho style, it features a 3 colour Celtic knot and blends silk, linen & cotton. We carry it in a large number of colours and produce to order in our full 20+ colour wholesale range (see here) which we are always updating through the year. It is certainly one of the best selling and most versatile items in our collection.
Natural Linen and Silk mix used to stunning effect in the ever versatile Wallace shawl. One size fits all and can be worn in any number of styles, we also do make a plus size. The Silk yarn is our background colour, usually a darker, tweedier yarn. We tend to use the Linen as the highlight colour, picking out the knot work and as a third colour in the body.
We first developed our Cape shape in 2004, later we found we needed a more Scottish version. Helen still has a lovely Mull Jacket that she wears often round her shoulders to keep warm and that looks like a cosy shawl on her , so we took the Knot from the Mull Jacket and added it to the cape style, and that became the Wallace Cape. When Jack joined the team in 2009, he took the design on to become the Iconic Ballater which is so popular now.
This classic take on a diamond poncho makes a wonderful addition to any wardrobe and can be worn in a variety of ways, as formally or casually as you like!

Lime green Spring Set (on request)
We have seen customers who like to wear it loose around your neck, similar to a pashmina or shawl. If you want to dress it up a little you can pin with a brooch at the shoulder and wrap one edge round your shoulders.
