We asked and you answered. We love to see your photos, especially of those vintage garments that have stood the test of time (much like ourselves!)

Joy (above) our late neighbour in the Grassmarket, wearing her vintage jacket that she passed down to her granddaughter Mhairirdh (below). One jacket, one family and so many memories.

Nita visited the Grassmarket in 1996 and was followed by her granddaughter Rachel in 2024!

Sheila from the Scottish Borders bought this piece in the 1970’s and wore it years later for her 82nd birthday!

The lovely Nellie, Mum to our friend Lorna, still loves her cardigan from the 1980’s

Vicky (who happens to be Lucy’s grandmother) has had her Bill Baber Knits since the 80’s and was delighted when Lucy started to work for them! (Yes she has ended up with a few more pieces since then!)

Please send us your photos, whether you bought your Bill Baber Knits this year or 50 years ago – we want to see them! As we approach our 50th birthday (11 months from the day we published this) we’d love to celebrate with you by seeing your pieces! The garments that were knitted by us in Scotland are all over the world now and it’s lovely to get a glimpse into all the places they have been!
