Enjoying the Scottish Springtime in Edinburgh!

We have had a late frost here in Edinburgh, but the season is pushing on and in the city of festivals, our calendars are always full!

The Edinburgh Trad Fest kicks off on the 26th of April – Sunday 6th of May, celebrating folk arts including storytelling and music.  For a full programme of events visit their website.

The Edinburgh International Science Festival runs until the 15th of April with events happening across Edinburgh. Falkirk Gin Festival   on the 14th of April sounds like a great day out !

The Fringe festival starts to release tickets each month gradually until the entire programme is released at the beginning of June. We will try to post our recommendations on facebook and twitter using #bbrecommends, and would love to hear about yours! Running alongside the Fringe is the International Festival and the Edinburgh Art Festival.

We also have an eye on the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, now that Bill and Helen have become grandparents! This brilliant week starting on the 26th of May includes dance, puppetry and storytelling appealing to the imagination of children and adults alike.
