Spotlight on the Kite Top

The Kite Top is another of our more recent designs. Knitted in a gorgeous fabric of soft merino wool, linen and cotton, this simple, bat wing sleeve top is flattering on all shapes with a curving bottom edge and relaxed, contemporary shaping.

Kite is a loose fitting style, with mid length tapering sleeves and a deep cut away at the hip which allows for a subtle draping over the tummy and bum areas. These are knitted in a mix of soft merino wool and combined with a linen/cotton blend that provides a subtle colour highlight. The cuff is trimmed with linen which restates the bold colour combinations.

These have been flying out of our shop since we started making them, they just look great on everyone!

The Kite is such a versatile garment, most popular here in Spring to Summer time, but could be used as a layering garment in the cooler months worn over long sleeves. We love it over jeans as part of a casual outfit or even dressed up with jewellery, it can look very smart. For us the elegant Kite Top has become one of our favourite garments!
