Spotlight on the Cashmere and Silk Cape

A Cashmere & Silk Cape is an essential part of our collection. We use the finest Todd & Duncan Cashmere spun in Kinross here in Scotland and combine it with lovely Silk spun over in Spain. The rich character of the Silk with all its spicy flecks of colour and texture combine perfectly with the elegant softness & lightness of the cashmere. Try one for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

A stylish and elegant shawl that can transform the simplest of outfits.

Could be worn over almost any combination of tops, dresses and coats in a similar fashion to a pashmina. Or, team it up with one of our other pieces and take advantage of our complimentary colour palette. Silk and cashmere are mixed to give a wonderful texture and lightweight finish.

We use a high quality yarn, spun at the Todd and Duncan, Loch Levan mill. We also wrote a whole Blog about this mill which you can read here. So far, the Cashmere collection has been very popular, we are excited to start incorporating more Cashmere into the collection.

We love to pair these Capes with a simple outfit to really show of the vibrant colour in the garment, or with a matching tonal outfit. We have customers who wear their capes as a casual garment, or as part of a more formal look, pinned with one of our gorgeous Skaramanda brooches.
