Spotlight on the Silk and Linen Cape
The classic Cape style has been a favourite of ours for many years and continues to sell well year on year with both visitors and locals. We love seeing the pictures sent to us from customers all over the world, wearing their Silk and Linen Capes. This lightweight and elegant shawl can transform the simplest of outfits.
The Cape could be worn over almost any combination of tops, dresses and coats in a similar fashion to a pashmina. Or, team it up with one of our other pieces and take advantage of our complimentary colour palette. We like to pair them with complementing snoods or linen garments that share the same yarn such as a Sally Dress or Pico Top.
Clover Cape
Wonderfully versatile, we have customers wearing them to weddings and rolling them up into rucksacks to travel the world. This piece can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion, we love to wear them out on summer evenings here in Scotland. We love to fix them up with one of our matching Skaramanda brooches which are all handmade locally.

Silk and linen are mixed to give a wonderful texture and lightweight finish. The fabric has a beautiful feel to it and makes a good use of both the two contrasting yarns very well.
