Spotlight on the Long Ivy

Now that the days are getting warmer and it really is starting to feel like summer is coming, it seems like a good time to highlight one of our Long Sleeved Linen Tops. The Long Ivy, a popular warm weather garment (though made in seasonal colourways and worn all year round), this elegant piece is a timeless classic. Comfortable, breathable and  knitted in soft linen, the Long Ivy makes is a versatile everyday garment and is made in a beautiful selection of colourways to suit every wardrobe. We always carry a selection of beautiful one off pieces at the shop, alongside the collection created for the web, which are some of our best sellers.

Macchiato Long Ivy Top

Long Ivys are our most popular longer tunic style tops. We knit each one with a leafy pattern around the hem and cuff, they are split at either side up to the hip which creates a lovely loose fitting style.

Macchiato Long Ivy Back

A soft linen & cotton blend is used here to stunning effect in this long tunic style pullover. The leaf motif around the hem is split at the hip giving a very flattering shape that draws the eye. The Ivy looks great with a skirt or trousers, versatile as relaxed everyday wear or dressed up for an elegant evening. We like to pair it with a complementing Linen Snood in cooler months, or under a Linen Cape.

In our workshop, we also make a stock a range of  variations on the Long Ivy including the Iona Tunic (as Helen is wearing here)  in many sizes, which features a Celtic Knot around the base with a raglan sleeve.
