Spotlight on the Ettrick Top

The Ettrick Top was one of the new designs developed during the lockdown in the UK in 2020. Bill and Helen have created a beautiful new collection of summery linen garments and this has been one of our most popular. You can see more of our new styles on Pinterest here.

The Ettrick is a lovely linen sleeveless to with a wide neck and a wide stitch detail around the neckline and across the shoulders. The top is fairly square in shape and tapers in slightly with a rib along the bottom at hip length. Our customers pair this with long sleeve tops or shirts for cooler months and wear comfortably on its own during the summer. It really shows off the beautiful tones of our linen yarn which knits to make a gorgeous fabric which though substantial is lightweight and breathable.
