Wholesale Colours

There is no short cut through this really, we have lots of colours! These pages are designed to try and help you navigate the colourways and how they match up to the different material types we have and the different styles in which we offer them! Honestly its exhausting for us, so you have our sympathies!

There are 2 basic principles to explain.

Firstly we knit many styles in just a single colour of yarn, well that’s nice and easy. You want a grey wool pullover, we have a few greys so browse the colour swatches for the wool and select the colour you like. Same goes for the linen/cotton yarn if you are ordering an Orkney Snood for example.

Second up we have Colourways. This is where people start to melt, but its not that complicated really. If we combine 2 or more colours then we create what we call a Colourway. We have around 20 Colourways in the collection. Each of the Colourways can be made in any of the material mixes. We have several material mixes, so you’ll find a Bronze Colourway for each of the Linen, Silk & Linen or Merino Wool & Linen Swatches.

Some of the Colourways are shared by multiple styles! So the Mull Jacket, Long Mull, Wallace and Millie Jackets all use the same Colourway! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
