We love to refresh our collection and launch new styles and colours. We hope you’ll love these new additions and changes to our range as much as we do!
First up is our vintage inspired Petal Argyll jumper. Back in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s we used to produce a range of Petal Jackets with a Fair Isle inspired petal pattern. To the left is a Petal box jacket from 1989. We looked back into our garment history and thought this pattern, re-imagined for a contemporary look, would be a perfect fit to enhance the Argyll pullover.
The pretty new petal pattern crosses the shoulders and is picked out in bright highlighted colours to contrast with the darker colour of the main garment. The Petal Argyll is available in Charcoal, Spruce or Lagoon.
We love the warmth and cosy feel of the Italian spun Merino Wool Argyll shawl along with it’s relaxed structure that suits all body shapes. Loose fitting with a raglan shaped shoulder, wide tapered body shape, and ribbed cowl neck the Argyll is perfect for wrapping up against the cold. One size fits all with a three quarter length sleeve and short side seam opening into a poncho shape.
Another variation for our Argyll is the addition of two new hues of Pink! This has been an in demand colour in our Grassmarket Edinburgh workshop so the combination of the Argyll pullover and pink seemed a foregone conclusion! Choose between Ahearne Pink, a pale almost there shade, or Liscannor Pink, a vibrant nearly purple hue. Both are knitted in Donegal spun Merino Wool and will add an on trend pop of colour to your wardrobe.
We’ve also introduced our Ballater Celtic Knot (currently seen on our Ballater Shawls) to the neckline and shoulders of our popular Milly jacket! Contrasting colours define the Celtic pattern, cuff and hemline with a subtle complementary colour in the body of the jacket.
This mid length jacket is made in a silk, linen and cotton mix and is worn open or cinched with a brooch. Featuring the new Celtic motif we’re introducing five colours in a variety of shades: neutral Oat, vibrant Grape, silvery Mist, fresh green Moss and trendy Mustard.
Our 4 colour Celtic Knot is a bold and striking motif that really grabs the attention. This design is inspired by the Celtic Sailor’s Knot, an intertwining of two ropes, which would be made by sailors for their sweethearts. The Knot symbolises the union of two into one and a bond which becomes stronger with time. The romantic gesture of giving a partner a piece of Celtic design is perhaps so popular for this reason.
And finally, we’ve expanded the colour range to our linen cape and snood range and added two new Spring inspired colours, Kinsale Blue and Edenderry Green. Both are fresh, light colours which add a touch of spring to your step while keeping the chilly wind out. Our range of linen capes and snoods is now offered in seven different colours so plenty of options to choose for either yourself or a friend!
We hope this latest addition to our Knitwear collection has you excited and eyeing a few pieces, for yourself or a loved one!
